St. Paul’s Convent School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) annually invites parent volunteers and team leaders to support the school and PTA activities throughout the academic year. For 2024 – 2025, we were delighted to have over 80 parent volunteers attending the Briefing Session which took place on November 9, 2024, in room G7 of the school.
Ms. Jennifer Lam, the PTA Chairlady, Ms. Annette Lau, the PTA Vice-Chairlady, and members of the Executive Committee (“ExCo”) warmly welcomed all parent volunteers and team leaders, expressing gratitude for their dedication and support. This year, we are proud to introduce 22 team leaders who will serve as coordinators for our parent volunteer groups. Each team leader introduced themselves, shared their experiences and aspirations for contributing to the SPCS PTA.
During the session, Ms. Jennifer Lam also briefed our parent volunteers on the upcoming 76th School Speech Festival, highlighting what would be the expected duties. Furthermore, Ms. Frances Ng, Ms. Elaine Lau and Mr. Leroy Lam introduced and promoted the Rooftop Garden. The results of their hard work were proudly displayed, showcasing the harvests and plants that have blossomed under their attentive care. Attendees were invited to explore the garden after the briefing and were highly encouraged to become volunteers for the Rooftop Garden.
A collaborative spirit amongst the team leaders and parent volunteers was particularly highlighted during the event. The strong partnership between parents and the school forms the foundation in fostering students’ all round education, a core value that SPCS PTA deeply treasures. On behalf of the PTA, we look forward to working with parents and teachers to foster a successful year ahead.
