On 8th July 2023, over 65 teachers, parents and students participated as volunteers in a visit to the Little Sisters of St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged in Sheung Shui and the Little Sisters of St. Mary’s Home for the Aged in Aberdeen. We are delighted that this meaningful community service programme co-organized by SPCS and PTA could take place again after the pandemic and thankful to all the teachers, parents and students who made this happen.
The visits were most enjoyable and memorable. With the active participation of over 70 seniors residing in the elderly homes, we had a fun-filled morning with singing, games, and laughter. Thanks to the generosity of our parents, we have received donations totalling HK$2,400. All the money was used to prepare gifts for the elderly. The elderly enjoyed the programme very much and we are very grateful for having this opportunity to promulgate the message of love, respect and care.
