The 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of St. Paul’s Convent School Parent Teacher Association (SPCS PTA) was held on October 21, 2017 at the school hall. We are grateful that in addition to our PTA Exco members, Ms Gigi Mak, SPCS PTA Legal Advisor, Ms Betty Chu and Mrs Lilian Hui, our past Chairladies, also kindly graced us with their presence in the event.
The meeting was commenced by a welcome speech by our Masters of Ceremony Mr Iceman Leung. Our Vice-Chairman Mr Iceman Leung has presented the annual report and made a presentation to summarize the activities organized by the PTA during the past year. Iceman has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the PTA Advisor, Principal Rev Sr. Margaret, 2016/2017 PTA Executive Committee Members, Legal Advisor, Auditor, Teachers, PTA members, and parent volunteers for their invaluable advice, support and contributions offered to the PTA last year.
The organization structure of PTA and the 2017/2018 Executive Committee team were presented. The new Chairman Mr Iceman Leung made a note of thanks to past Chairman and Treasurer for their dedicated efforts and contributions.
In acknowledgement of the contribution and commitment made by the Parents Teachers Association in the past year, Principal Rev Sr. Margaret also presented the Appreciation Certificates to our Legal Advisor. To mark the occasion, a group photo was taken on the stage.
Another highlight of the day was an inspiring talk presented by our honorable guest, Ms. Oi Lam Tang, on “香港文化下年輕人需要的教育環境”.
