The 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of St. Paul’s Convent School Parent-Teacher Association (SPCS PTA) took place on October 28, 2023, in Room G7. We were honored to have our Honorary Legal Advisor, Ms. Gigi MAK, and Honorary Members, Mrs. Zoie Chow, Ms. Iris Chow, Ms. Loretta Go, Ms. Connie Leung, Mr. Johnny Yeung, and Ms. Joanna Tong, join us for the meeting.
To start off, Dr. Tony Cheong and Ms. Athena Chong, the Masters of the ceremony, gave a warm welcome speech. Mrs. May Hau, the immediate past chairperson, presented and confirmed the activities organized by the SPCS PTA in the previous year in the Chairman’s report. She expressed her deepest gratitude to Principal Rev. Sr. Margaret, PTA ExCo Members, Co-opt Members, Honorary Legal Advisor, Auditor, Teachers, PTA members, and parent volunteers for their invaluable advice, support, and contributions to the SPCA PTA last year.
We were also grateful to have the Executive Committee members of SPCS PTA 2022-2023 in attendance. Ms. Jennifer Lam, the chairperson for the coming year, took a moment to express her heartfelt appreciation to the School and PTA committee members for their invaluable advice and contributions.
During the meeting, we had an enlightening talk by Mr. Ronald Pong, Chairman of the IT Governance Committee, on “Information Security Awareness – Cyber Attacks and Defense for Daily Life.”
