The 60th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival came to an end on 10 Dec, 2008. With close collaboration between the school and the PTA, it was another successful year for the school and the students. The PTA fully supports this meaning project and organised a total of 49 parent volunteers to assist the school in accompanying the students to take part in 32 sessions of the Speech Festival between 18.11.2008 and 10.12.2008. In the course of the voluntary service, the parent volunteers did not only enjoy taking part in this project but also shared the delight of success and excitement with the students in the public performances. Indeed, having such a great achievement, we are most indebted to the parent volunteers for sparing their precious time and unreserved efforts in assisting the school and the PTA, as but for their help, the activity would not have been successful. To this end, the PTA would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the parent volunteers for their valuable contributions and unstinting support, and in particular parent coordinators, namely Wanda Hau and Winnie Wong, and lead parent volunteers, namely Sylvia Au, Ellen Chau, Pinky Choi, Bibiana Choy and Rosanna Wu for their active roles in organizing and ensuring the smooth running of the project throughout. |
